Ingredients You'll Need

- Bone-In Pork Chops
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Water
- Honey
- Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
- BBQ Sauce
Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1:
Rub salt and pepper on the pork chops.
Step 2:
Add water, BBQ sauce, honey and honey mustard dipping sauce to the Instant Pot and mix together with a whisk. Place pork chops in the sauce.
Step 3:
Close the lid and make sure the valve points to sealed.
Step 4:
Pressure cook on High Pressure for 20 minutes. Use Quick Release to vent steam. Remove pork chops.
Step 5:
Set Instant Pot to sauté and cook the sauce for about 5 minutes, reducing liquid by half.
Step 6:
Spoon sauce over the pork chops to serve.

How Do I Store Cooked Pork Chops?
Placed cooled pork chops in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Can I Freeze Cooked Pork Chops?
Yes! Place the pork chops in a freezer safe bag. Remove as much air as possible before you seal it. You can also place them in a covered airtight freezer container, or wrap tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil or freezer wrap. Properly stored, they will maintain best quality for 2 to 3 months.

Instant Pot BBQ Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 thick cut, bone-in pork chops, approximately 4 ounces each
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons raw honey
- ¾ cup traditional BBQ sauce
- ¾ cup honey mustard dipping sauce
Instructions
- Rub salt and pepper on the pork chops.
- Add water, BBQ sauce, honey and honey mustard dipping sauce to the Instant Pot and mix together with a whisk. Place pork chops in the sauce.
- Close the lid and make sure the valve points to sealed.
- Pressure cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Use quick release to vent steam. Remove pork chops.
- Set Instant Pot to sauté and cook the sauce for about 5 minutes, reducing liquid by half.
- Spoon sauce over the pork chops to serve.
Notes
The internal temperature of the pork chop should be at least 165°F. Measure this at the thickest part of the pork chop near the bone. Continue cooking until chicken reaches temperature.
I use Sweet Baby Ray's brand for the honey mustard dipping sauce.
The Instant Pot needs to come to pressure before the cooking time starts, similar to an oven that needs to preheat. The cooking time doesn't actually start until pressure builds, which can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes, sometimes longer depending on how full the pot is and how much liquid there is inside. Once it reaches pressure the Instant Pot will beep, and the cook time will begin to count down. Please, make sure to consider that extra time when planning your meal.
