  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons raw honey
  • 3/4 cup traditional BBQ sauce
  • 3/4 cup honey mustard dipping sauce

Instructions

  1. Rub salt and pepper on the pork chops.
  2. Add water, BBQ sauce, honey and honey mustard dipping sauce to the Instant Pot and mix together with a whisk. Place pork chops in the sauce.
  3. Close the lid and make sure the valve points to sealed.

  5. Set Instant Pot to sauté and cook the sauce for about 5 minutes, reducing liquid by half.
  6. Spoon sauce over the pork chops to serve.

Notes

The internal temperature of the pork chop should be at least 165°. Measure this at the thickest part of the pork chop near the bone. Continue cooking until chicken reaches temperature.

I use Sweet Baby Ray's brand for the honey mustard dipping sauce.

The Instant Pot needs to come to pressure before the cooking time starts, similar to an oven that needs to preheat. The cooking time doesn't actually start until pressure builds, which can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes, sometimes longer depending on how full the pot is and how much liquid there is inside. Once it reaches pressure the Instant Pot will beep, and the cook time will begin to count down. Please, make sure to consider that extra time when planning your meal.
