We also plan to get some sparklers and little fireworks for the kids too. I would love to spend more time outdoors, but it’s just so hot. It’s supposed to be 106 degrees today for a high, so not much fun being outside. The high temps is the main reason we like to cook outside, so we’re not heating up the house too much. This Red White and Blue Jello dessert is also perfect because it’s light and chilled, so no cooking required. I love desserts that are no-bake and simple.

How to make this recipe
1 – Make the Jello according the the package and split it up between 4 cups.
2 – Place Jello in the fridge. It takes several hours for Jello to set up, but once it’s done it’s ready to go.
3 – When you’re ready to eat the Jello, top with whipped cream and your favorite fruit. I like to use strawberries and blueberries because they are in season and are festive for the holiday.
If you are going to serve this for an afternoon or evening treat, I recommend getting started first thing in the morning since Jello takes some time to chill and set up in the fridge. There are methods to expedite the chilling process, such as adding ice to the Jello mixture when preparing. All the information is right on the box.
I used the original Reddi-Whip for my dessert, but they also offer non-dairy options made with almond or coconut milk.

Red White and Blue Jello Dessert
- 0.6 oz box sugar-free strawberry Jello Or any flavor you'd like.
- 8 tbsp Reddi-Wip cream
- 2 large strawberries, chopped small
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- Prepare Jello according to direction on box. Divide Jello mixture into 4 cups. Chill in fridge approximately 3 hours, or until set.
- Top each cup of Jello with about 2 tbsp Reddi-Wip cream. Top with strawberries and blueberries.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
- Keep Jello in fridge until ready to serve. Once topped with Reddi-Wip, Jello should be served immediately as both will melt if it's too warm.
