    Expert Tips

    • The quality of green tea bags you use can greatly impact the flavor of the green tea lemonade. Choose a high-quality brand of green tea bags for best results.
    • Over-steeping or under-steeping the tea bags can result in a bitter or weak-tasting tea. Follow the recommended steeping time to get the best flavor.
    • Fresh-squeezed lemon juice will give your green tea lemonade a bright and tangy flavor. Avoid using bottled lemon juice, which can taste artificial.
    • Pureeing the strawberries well will give the lemonade a smooth and creamy texture. Make sure to remove the stems and hulls from the strawberries before blending.
    • Adding fresh mint leaves as a garnish can enhance the flavor and aroma of the green tea lemonade.

    Variations

    • Add honey instead of simple syrup: If you prefer a natural sweetener, try using honey instead of simple syrup.
    • Use other types of tea: You can experiment with different types of tea, such as black tea or herbal tea, to create unique flavor combinations.
    • Add other fruits: Instead of strawberries, you can use other fresh fruits like raspberries, blueberries, or peaches to add different flavors and colors to your lemonade.
    • Infuse with herbs: Adding herbs like basil, mint, or thyme can give your green tea lemonade a refreshing twist and complement the fruity flavors.
    • Make it sparkling: For a fizzy and refreshing version, add sparkling water or club soda to your green tea lemonade.

    Storing & Freezing

Storing: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Freezing: You can even freeze the lemonade by pouring it into the ice cubes. Once set, transfer the cubes into a ziplock bag and freeze them.
