These individual taco dip cups are a fun appetizer. They are a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, even if it’s at home with family. This way everyone gets their own cup, and they can double dip all they want.

Place the refried beans at the bottom of the cup.

Step 2:

Top with guacamole, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives and sliced green onion.

The layered dip will last for 3-4 days in the refrigerator, tightly covered with plastic wrap.

  • 2 tablespoons refried beans
  • 1 tablespoon guacamole
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon salsa
  • 1 tablespoon shredded Mexican cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sliced black olives
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Place the refried beans in the bottom of a cup. Then top with guacamole, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, tomatoes, black olives and sliced green onions.
  2. Serve with your favorite chips and enjoy!

Can you make this a day before or will it get watery by the next day?

They won't be as good if you prep them the day before. I would suggest prepping all the ingredients for each layer the night before, and the next day you can quickly layer the cups. :)
