Sliders are typically little hamburgers or sandwiches around 2″ in diameter. They can be stuffed with your favorite ingredients and are perfect for parties because they are handheld.

Ingredients
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- BBQ sauce
- Purple onion
- Kosher pickle chips
- Hawaiian rolls
- Water
How To Make This Recipe

Step 1:
Put water at the bottom of the Instant Pot. Place the trivet in the Instant Pot with the chicken breast on top.
Step 2:
Close the lid and seal the pressure valve. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
Step 3:
Manually release the pressure once finished cooking. Remove the chicken from the instant pot and pour out the water.
Step 4:
Shred the chicken, return to Instant Pot and place on sauté. Add the BBQ sauce and sauté for 1 minute.
Step 5:
Half the rolls with a knife and place bottoms of rolls in a 9″ x 9″ baking pan.
Step 6:
Spread shredded BBQ chicken across the rolls, top with sliced onions, pickles and then top bun.
Step 7:
Broil sliders on high for 90 seconds (Or less depending on your oven. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.). Remove and serve.

How do I store my leftover bbq chicken sliders?
The leftovers sliders can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Can I freeze my bbq chicken sliders?
Yes! Carefully transfer the sliders to a freezer safe container. They will last in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To reheat, thaw the sliders in the refrigerator overnight. Place the thawed sliders in the oven and cook at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes.

- 1/2 medium purple onion, sliced thin
- 9 kosher pickle chips
- 9 Hawaiian sweet rolls

Notes
The Instant Pot needs to come to pressure before the cooking time starts, similar to an oven that needs to preheat. The cooking time doesn't actually start until pressure builds, which can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes, sometimes longer depending on how full the pot is and how much liquid there is inside. Once it reaches pressure the Instant Pot will beep, and the cook time will begin to count down. Please, make sure to consider that extra time when planning your meal.
