- Apples
- Monk Fruit Sweetener or Granulated Sugar
- All-Purpose Flour
- Apple Pie Spice
- Salt
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Lemon Juice
- Puff Pastry
How To Make This Recipe

Step 1:
Preheat oven according to puff pastry directions. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, combine the chopped apples, monk fruit sweetener, flour, apple pie spice, salt, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
Step 3:
Stir to coat the apples completely and let sit for 30 minutes.
Step 4:
Unroll and cut the puff pastry with a pizza cutter into 4” squares.
Step 5:
Place a tablespoon of the apple pie mixture in the center of each square of puff pastry.
Step 6:
Fold the turnovers by bringing one corner of the puff pastry diagonally across and pressing to the diagonally opposite corner.
Step 7:
Press the edges of the folded puff pastry together to form a seal, and then use a fork to make a crimped edge. Make two small cuts in the top of the puff pastry using kitchen shears.
Step 8:
Set each turnover on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown.

How Do I Store My Apple Turnovers?
Place cooled turnovers in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To reheat, bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

Instructions
