How To Make Air Fryer Egg Cups
Step 1. Prepare bacon strips: Slice bacon strips in half. You'll need half a slice of bacon per cup, so measure our how many will fit in your air fryer and then see how many bacon slices you'll need.
Step 2. Line air fryer cups: Line each air fryer cup (silicone cups sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or paper muffin cups) with a half slice of bacon.
Step 3. Add eggs: Carefully crack one large egg into each cup, using the bacon as support for the runny raw egg.
Step 4. Optional additions: Sprinkle diced bell pepper over the eggs (or any other toppings you like). Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5. Cook in air fryer: Gently close the air fryer basket. Air fry egg cups at 330 °F for 10 minutes (adjust based on preferred egg doneness). For over-medium eggs, start with 8 minutes.

Tips
- Be sure to place the bacon-lined wrappers in the air fryer before cracking in the egg. It's pretty tricky to move the wrapper once there's a cracked egg in it without spilling.
- If you prefer crispier bacon, pre-cook the bacon to medium-rare (so it's warmed through but still floppy) before lining it around the wrappers. You can also use crumbled bacon if you want it to be extra crispy.
- In place of bell peppers, try diced asparagus, chopped zucchini, diced onion, or small pieces of mushrooms.
- In place of bacon, strips of ham, turkey bacon, or Canadian bacon are also a great option.
- Add cheddar cheese! Add your favorite flavors of cheese to the bottom of each up cup before cracking the egg.

Special Equipment
- Silicone Baking Cups (I used 6)
Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon sliced in half (you'll use half a slice for each egg cup)
- 6 large eggs
- 3-6 tablespoons diced bell pepper optional, see notes for other topping ideas
- diced scallion
- salt and pepper optional
Instructions
- Slice the bacon strips in half. Line each wrapper with a half slice of bacon.
- Place the silicone cups into the air fryer. Carefully crack an egg inside each cup, using the bacon as support for the runny egg.
- Sprinkle with diced peppers, salt and pepper, if desired.
